Compression socks?

My Gp has recommended i wear compression socks. To combat lower leg pain. Gp says small veins in my legs are whats causing my pains...

Recommendations for these and your thoughts.. do they work.. have you experienced similar pains too... where to buy from and whose compression socks are best ?

My husband has these for walking and I have one pair that I used after a calf injury... there are loads of others on sale, some really expensive......but these are a reasonable price...

Ask your GP for his recommendation for the mmhg, you need ( that is basically the level of compression... ), there is low, medium and high... e.g. 20- 30 mmhg is classed as medium compression,

Hi...silly question but do either of you struggle to actually get these socks pulled up your legs?

I've bought a pair from a running shop ( light compression) and i struggled to get them pulled up... oh deary me.. ☹

Inside out ...get your toe in, then peel right side up your legs...!

Sounds so hard lol.. i had no idea until i attempted last night ! Took about 20minutes .. hilarious but a good workout was gained haha
