Chris, your time in position 101 today at Harlow parkrun was 29:03. Well done on a new PB...service powered by aql

Brilliant run today at Harlow Park Run and on my 12th attempt finally cracked the Sub 30min Park Run, knocking over a minute of my previous Park Run time.

But the bonus was the discovery that I had actually recorded my best 5K time beating my previous best by 3 secs.

Harlow Park Run is a competitive course and until recently I felt that a sub 30 min on that course was beyond me, but clearly the 10k’s and longer runs I’ve recently been doing has increased my stamina levels and is really paying off!

So felling quite proud of myself today.

Awesome result, Chris!

I think you’re right, the additional miles will deffo help - especially for the last tough time mile.

Cracking job!

Congratulations Chris on achieving a sub 30 minute 5k at Harlow Park run on your 12th attempt, well done, I also got a PB today at my fifth parkrun, not as fast as you, 32.01, nevertheless I am quite happy about that. 😊 🏃

That is still a great time AlMorr. I would have been delighted with that time too not so long ago. Be proud!

Fantastic running and congratulations on breaking through the 30 minute barrier at that parkrun and getting a new 5K PB over all. Very well done.

Brilliant well done. That's still in my dreams. Mine 32:11 today 30:43. Reckon you're correct on longer runs to increase the stamina. If you do them do you find interval runs help?

I’ve not done any interval running. Just gradually increased to 10K and done a couple of around 6.5 miles. About to start increasing again towards 10 miles. Not sure interval running would suit me!
