Harlow’s 250th Park Run was unfortunately conducted in pouring rain, but ran with my daughter who again thrashed me and got her Park Run PB.
Then on Tuesday ran with her again on my normal course cause I was convinced she could get her first sub 30m 5K, on my easier course than the harder terrain she normally runs on and Lo and behold both of us got sub 30m times my 2nd fastest but she beat me again, but I was doing the pacing before she cut loose near the end.
Then on Thursday I did my third 10K Run on my own and got another PB this time taking 1m 2 secs off my time achieving 64.52.
Got family coming tomorrow so no Park Run this week.

Nice that there is "friendly" rivalry between you Chris and your daughter regarding your runs, I am sure she enjoys 'thrashing' you on those 5K runs, who knows you might beat her one of those days. 😊 🏃 Congratulations on your 64.52 10k PB and your first sub 30 minute 5k.
Well done on that sub 30 5k ; it’s a a target many of us aspire too.
Don’t forget to do some long slow runs though. The advice I’ve seen here is that 80% of your runs should be at an easy pace. Good going all the same. 🏃♂️👏👏
