Park run today Iβve only gone and done another PB I canβt believe it 28:35 Iβm so happy with that never thought I would ever get such a great time ππ
Well Iβve gone and done it ππ»ββοΈπ - Bridge to 10K
Well Iβve gone and done it ππ»ββοΈπ
Congratulations to you Kev on that PB of 28.35, I got a PB as well, but not as good as yours, I got 32.01, still quite pleased with that. π
Thank you Alan and well done to you on a new PB itβs a great feeling isnβt it ππ it gives you a smile all day long π
I does indeed Kev.
My plan for the next 9 days is :-tomorrow I will go for a short cycle ride, come back and watch The Great North Run on BBC 1, may I wish all the runners who are taking part all the very best, I am just wondering if anyone on this forum is running the GNR.
On Wednesday morning I hope to run my second 10k.
No parkrun for me next Saturday, however, I am hoping to rerun my graduation run along the promenade at Helensburgh, a seaside town about 30 miles away from where I live, it was there on the 18th June last year that I graduated from C25K, so that would be a nice reminder run for me.
I did say 9 days, a week tomorrow is my local 10K, I am not running in that event but I know two runners who are, one is a lady, her son is a marathon runner who entered her both last year and has again this year, she ran it last year in 82 minutes, the other person is a man who I often see when I am out a walk or run, he told me he can run a 5K in 16 minutes and ran that 10K last year in around 33 minutes, so I'll be cheering on two runners at the opposite end of the running speed spectrum. π π
Congrats!!! I'm on about 35 mins but on the treadmill. Plucking up the courage to do a Parkrun!
Fantastic Kev. Your βon a rollβ patch continues! Well done. πββοΈπ

Amazing time! Well done x
Brilliant huge well done!
Keep training and you can go faster! πππ
Well done Kevtrev. PBs are great.
The sub 30 streak continues! A massive well done and so deserved too! This is inspiring me to have faith and plough on xx
I didnβt hit a PB today but I was pleased to remain consistently at 35 mins π
Thank you so so much JaoJao I did do 2 things different small steps up hill on tiptoe and then I made up for that downhill with doing that uphill you donβt exhaust your self as much and plus I was in front of David yesterday he is always normally in front of me not this week he couldnβt get in front not like last week he took me on the 3rd lap so Iβve eventually beat him he is
73 but he did get a
better time as he was about 10sec
behind me I seen him on the end
stretch and I thought this is my only chance next time he will probably thrash me π plus on the very last lap two under 10 year olds shot past me they were like whippets.
You will get your PB and you should be very proud of yourself your doing amazing and still 35 is a great time donβt knock yourself you will improve naturally your pace and endurance will especially with your jujuβs plan happy running JaoJao Xx
At this rate, youβll be running it in 10β at Christmas π! Well done
Well done Kevtrev, another pb! Fantastic stuff! βΊ I did my first Parkrun in over a month yesterday and I went at a snail's pace up the hills - I was nowhere near my pb but just pleased to get round the course without having to walk after such a long break. Might try again next week and really go for it!
