I've only gone and done it :) . . . 10k done!

Well it was an early start for me today at 6am for my scheduled big run day of week 6, the 9k. I went on my usual route up the old railway line, I deliberately went 5k up and then turned around and headed back towards the carpark. My plan was I would walk the last 1k back but if I felt OK I’d run it. I can’t say it was particularly easy run, the hardest part was getting to the first 5k for some reason, but things felt better when I turned around and I knew I was heading for home so to speak, it’s true it really is all in the mind. The legs felt rather heavy after about 8k but by that time the finishing line was in sight and I made it all the way back to the carpark and to complete my first 10k, I’m a very happy bunny
