Another early evening run for me yesterday, I set off along the canal path which takes me up through town. Just an out and back, I'd left a chilli cooking in the oven. The path in town was pretty busy, you have to come off the path, over the bridge, and onto the other side of the canal in a couple of places and there were streams of commuters who'd just got off the train and heading home. As the path got quieter, I really relished the peace of it all, and just kept going. I turned around at 4k, and of course it's then a gentle downhill on the return, so I was able to trundle back. Another train and more commuters on the bridge, but the canal path was quiet now, so I kept going until my watch buzzed, much to my surprise, for 7k. That's the most I've done since I got flu in May! Remembered my stretches (hooray!) Then home for chilli π Hips were a bit achy when I woke up this morning, but fine now, and I'm feeling chuffed. Oh and there's a cat on that canal boat, curled up amongst the plants ππ
