I haven't been around for a few weeks as been on the IC with a tweaky knee followed by pf.
All seems to be well now and everything appears to in normal working order after vigorous testing in Dorset. Namely an 18.5 km walk yesterday followed by a rather challenging 13km one today along the coastal path.
Pic is a taster of the conditions from Lulworth to Durdle Door and beyond. More impressively I meet a lady running up one of these, and she wasn't even blowing!
I'll be back running on Thurs evening and restarting the Magic plan on Monday woohoo
I hope everyone has been having a great time these past few weeks. Apologies for not being around much, it was a bit frustrating reading about everyone having a great time, so pls forgive me VRB's if I have missed any momentous achievements, I'll try and catch up with them xxx
Happy running folks xxx

Stunning! 😍 Really happy to see your name on the magic plan! Whoo-hoo!
I’ve spent many a day walking that path and my sister did a sponsored walk with school - Lulworth to Weymouth. Glad to hear that your knee passed the test and you’ll be back running again.
Yes if you take into account all the ups and downs it certainly is, but I think we generally walked a lot more then and I don’t remember her suffering from it.
Good news! I recognise that path too, I used to live in Dorset many years ago and still miss it. You've reminded me, when I was walking (scrambling) up Catbells in the lake district, two (TWO!) young runners went bounding up past us, while I was looking around for somewhere safe to put my next step. By the time I reached the top of the scrambly bit, they were two dots in the drizzly distance.
Lol. My first introduction to hill walking by my ex was up catbells. Thought i was going to die! I was in my late 20's so no excuses 🤦♀️ was really demoralised when reading Wainwright who suggested it was so easy you could take your granny up it 😆
That’s probably why it’s so busy and so many people in inappropriate shoes and clothing. Lovely views of Derwent Water though. Yes I look at the youngsters and realise I haven’t got the same energy as I used to.
Great news that you are now waving goodbye to the i/c. We were down in Dorset a few weeks back - I love the coastline there and know the walk you described so your knee is obviously a lot better!! We did manage a short run along the coastline from our campsite which was....hard but beautiful!😀😫🏃🏽♀️ Good luck getting back out there - enjoy your runnnig! 🙂
