If you want to run three times a week that is OK, make the during the week runs shorter, say Tuesday and Thursday a 5K and leave the third run with your son on a Sunday the 10-mile run, that is if your son also wants to run for 10 miles every Sunday.

You don't really need to run three times every week, your weekend 10 miler will keep you in shape, and you can just do a short fast one during the week. Do some extra exercises in between if there's anything you particularly enjoy. If you feel like an extra run at any point go for it - if not, don't worry. As you're up to 10 miles already you have done most of the work. Many people don't get past 10 miles in training before their first half marathon, you'll be fine.

If it was me, I would try to make one of those weekly 10 mile runs 11 miles in August and 12 miles in September, to give me confidence that I could make 13 and a bit in October.

Good luck however you do it though - your record so far suggests you’ll achieve whatever you set out to do 👍
