I'm still running - no IC as feared i'm fighting fit!
Managed 3x 5k runs this week so far - and this is definitely the time to be getting up early to beat the heat! I have to say, now i have beaten down the pesky πΏ gremlins getting up early is becoming routine and i really enjoy it.
Also there are very few people around to see my super π₯΅ face! Forgot i could go that colour! I know i'm not alone here π
Need to invest in some running capris me thinks - i may even dare to get skorts π- never been that brave before but change is good! Why not!
Happy running everyone - keep safe in the heat xxx

Yep definitely not alone π π π Capri's will make a big difference and shorts even more so, but it has to be extreme for me to resort to those π Never tried a skort though π€ Don't know about you, but I'm totally not bothered by people seeing me in my running gear; when I started c25k I used to drive to a deserted football field, run around it, then dive back into the car to drive home. And it was only a couple of hundred metres down the road!
haha! yes i was bothered by people seeing me when i started - not any more. I'm happy to run in capri's (need more) but was considering the skort in the hope it may be more flattering - i never get my legs out but now i think why shouldn't I ? - who cares what people think, i am out running and i'm happy so judge away π
I wonder if π π₯΅ is a girl thing? On the rare occasions I run with my partner I always end up looking like Iβve been locked in a sauna for a day: he looks like heβs been for a gentle walk round the block. Hereβs to Team π ! X
My face still goes a lovely red, even in the winter! You wonβt regret getting capris Alison, they do help to cool you down and if you get a skort, full report please, Iβm so tempted to get one myself. π
Hi lexi - i am on the hunt for a skort so will report back if i get one for sure. I know they sell them on run mummy run but i don't fancy paying their prices for kit! seem a little excessive to me,especially if i wear it once and then hate it! Someone posted about decathlon so will check that out love a good sports kit shopping session!
