Another hot Saturday morning - another tourist parkrun. That's no. 3.
Brooklands parkrun is almost entirely flat, with a couple of short but steep bridges/rises. In this weather the biggest hazard is that about 2km is out in the open around the airfield. Real friendly group though, and quite busy at 300+.
Also another PB, although only shaved a few seconds off this time.
I continue to walk the middle 1km and run the start and finish. Most of my normal runs in the week are 4km continuous, but I still haven't worked my way up to 5km non stop yet. Especially in this heat.

If you need to walk in parkrun I suspect you are setting off too fast, just like I did today. Next week make your aim to to complete it entirely running rather than chasing a PB and I’m sure you’ll do it.
