18.25 miles run this week, and enjoying the gradual increase from week to week. I have also been doing a little walking and broke 100km on foot this week... screenshot is from Pokemon go of all things.
Think a little less walking and a little extra strength work next week
Happy running.

Well done to you UNM on walking 100Km. So for next week you will be doing more strength work and a little less of the walks.
Talking of walks, this morning I went for a 5 kilometer walk with Mapmywalk telling me that my pace was 10.22, calories, 274, the duration was 51.56.
Yesterday I 'ran' a 5k with that metrome beat app I told you about the other day.
I set the beat/steps at 155 and kept to that pace throughout the run resulting in the longest slowest 5K that I have ever ran, time, just over 52 minutes, at times during the run I felt like stopping and resetting the app to a higher level but Alan is one of those guys who does not like changing things after they have started whatever they are doing. Next time I will set it at 160 steps a minute and run the exact same 5k route which is the ButtercupKid 5K trail. 😊 🏃
That’s cool... run and walk almost exactly the same time, that’s a handy skill! 160 is around my recovery run cadence... have fun with it. I may have to have a go with that app sometime.
It seems to be the only app that adds total miles up... I run with the watch, which logs runs and walks but I don’t see anywhere it collates it all, and I’m plotting a challenge to myself for next year that will be running and walking.
I have no clue on the game... I catch pixels then little Miss UMN “swaps” them with me 😂
It’s linked to the health app though, so picks up steps, runs etc... and unlike my fitness tracker and the Garmin/Nike partnership it doesn’t duplicate the same exercise.
