I’ve just completed a 10K trail run this morning as part of training for some official 10K races I have coming up. Blimey, have to say the toughest run I’ve done to date - a very hilly 780ft elevation has put 68 flights of stairs on my Fitbit. Loved it though!! I still can’t quite believe it’s me running sometimes, today I’ve run non stop for an hour and a quarter, feel like I’m finally sorting my breathing as well!
I’m going to get gait analysis done this week as the last few trail runs I’ve done I’ve had a painful right knee, especially when I’m coming down hills.
Hope you’re all enjoying your runs or rest days today!!
Happy running!🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️

You will really feel it on the downhills for a while until your knees, ankles and even hips become accustomed to trails. It can help in the short term to take smaller steps on the downs until they've gotten a bit stronger.
Thank you, yep hips are aching a bit too! I need to start building up core strength, it’s all new to me but living learning about it all!! 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️
