Toenails and coastal run.

Today has been very running focused. A few weeks ago I had painful bruised toes after a long run and today one of the toenails fell off! 😳 The toenail underneath seems to be fine although still looks bruised and I have another two to go I think, what a joy ..

After about eight months I thought it was time to replace my trainers so went along to runners need and also got some advice, so I've now got some hoka on order in two sizes bigger than my usual size.

My partner wanted to try out his new paddle board today so we combined this with me having a lovely run along Exmouth sea front, which I always enjoy having the chance to do, so four miles with a bit of fartleks and I felt amazing.

I hope everyone has enjoyed some weekend running and enjoying the bank holiday. πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

That looks awesome. Lucky you πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

I’ve lost numerous toe nails πŸ™„. Occupational hazard I suppose 🀨. The ones underneath seem to be rough and ridged ☹️

It's really cool, I can only go occasionally though as I don't drive.

Oh yes, toenails used to be a standard item. Now they’re a bit of a luxury! Well done on a great run CH! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thanks cheeky, I only started getting toenail issue when I started increasing the distance. I always thought you were immune to any running injuries. 😁
