It looks different!

There are not many folk running it.. last week 35... which will suit me I have driven to suss the course out... it may be the slowest 5K I have ever run!!!

Hopefully come the summer... the Feline family may be able to sneak a visit in I know some great places for coffee and ... cake xx

Honestly ,it was freezing the day I sussed it out.. a wind blowing across the bay and tiny sand particles in your eyes! It is currently raining here today but has given fine tomorrow... so the snail is heading to the sea shore x

Tee hee.. well.. apparently a high tide, presented obstacles on the 23rd March...at 9.15.... and there is a high tide at 9. 46 tomorrow.. so... I need to get back to the start before then xx This could be my fastest, slowest or wettest run ever

Yes..it is a good one, beautiful location.... but a bit of a trek from Criccieth, and the traffic on a Saturday gets really snarled up around Carnarfon and Bangor...... I can run to Hafon Park run, down the coastal path, from here

Enjoy! It’s all a beautiful area. We’ve had two big family holidays in Abersoch in recent years. Grandma gets to look after the little ones while the parents run! 😂

I’d be interested to read your run report, Oldfloss: we will be in the area over 2 weekends in the summer and I’m considering doing this parkrun but I’m aware it could be really tough, being all on sand.

Ooh will do! I also looked at Newborough Forest or even Dolgellau looks nice but might be a bit far from where we are staying: we will be between Pwllheli and Criccieth 👍
