I felt tired on the very first lap and had to work hard to keep going. Came within a whisker of retching as I got to the top of the hill on the last lap π I understood why when I stopped my watch and looked at the time at the finish.
That makes it a PB streak of 4 at my local parkrun (with a big gap between the September>March runs admittedly!)
All that running in to headwinds the past few weeks must've helped!
Feeling more confident about the Whitley 10km I've entered for next month now, I've still not really pushed myself to see how quick I can do a 10km, I figure I may as well leave that for the race day itself π
