What an ace bunch of people! And thank you Baddie for the shout out!
We were up and out by stupid o'clock to do the 2h30m journey from home to Marple.
Runninroni found us in the top car park and we all headed down to the parkrun flag at about 8:30 to wait for / find Baddie with a pirate flag. Pianism turned up with enough time for a group photo.
I'm the one in the old (Stockport County) football top. Can you see the pirate badges? Roni,, you're amazing!
Kitten #2 went off like a rocket. I kept him in sight and we ran together more than usual as he was having tummy pains. But he soldiered on and left me in his dust in the final straight. My fastest tourist time!
We headed back after barcode scanning to cheer all finishers on. Well done to roni for carrying on despite having a heavy cold. Baddie finished strong. Pianism got a new PB!. Kitten #1 looking after the tail.
Then we all headed to Marple Bridge to enjoy a second breakfast at the cafe followed by a trip to see Baddie's pirate ship! OK... I say she but its a narrow boat but every pirate has to start somewhere right?
A great course with great people and fine company! π

You guys really are up at stupid oβclock for an 8:30 am π³ meet up. You and your kitty clan rock! Pirate badges from Runinroni, too! Baddiethepirate is a fellow boatdweller? Who knew? So cool! A post ended with a Dad joke? Perfect.
Sounds like another great parkrun tourism meet up with another great group of runners.
Runningroni for Pirate badges and BaddieThePirate for organising everyone. Pianism , I saw someone in piano keyboard leggings yesterday, you must get some. Glad you all had a great time despite illness.
There are several in the Southampton area that we could get to Katnap. So find out which is the closest to your relatives and we can drive to that one . Southampton common is the central one and is flat! Just let us know when you are down.
Just checked out Southampton Parkrun results yesterday 955 people. Wow! Thatβs twice what we get, but great that the Tailwalkers were over an hour so all inclusive.
