I thought I might volunteer at my local parkrun whilst I'm waiting for my torn calf muscle to heal (just in case I slip back into my lazy old ways on the I/c couch!)
I can really recommend it, we had a great time! It's just a couple of hours out of your Saturday morning and you get to see really inspirational people running.
Nice pic! That's great Pam. MYhusband can't run at the moment due to a knee problem, so he too volunteers at our local Parkrun. To all of you...πππππππ!
My hubby was running, so when he came through to the finish I gave him his time token and a kiss, but the new runner behind thought everyone got a kiss! π x
I'm tempted to volunteer as my local parkrun seems very short of volunteers, but I just so want to run too! But it's a good point that if we can't run then volunteering is a very good second best, to still feel the buzz of it all
ππππππ for all volunteers they do an amazing job π
Brilliant.. good luck with that.. just a short test run mind!!! I ran thismorning..shattered tonight..just got into bed watch telly for an hour.. leave hubby on the supper dishes
