Back out there today after one of my good VRBs UnfitNoMore advised Nike has an achievement for a run today! Nice, subtle encouragement! 😂😂Well, it worked, as I thought, 😯 yes... I should go and get that! But in the middle of the day and with work to do before the end? It needs to be sensible! Do I go or leave it? Look...if I’m being true to myself, I should just make time and go! How much time? Well....that’s a different matter. 😊
So, the thing I like about my app is, it seems to cater for every mood and capability. And low and behold there’s a 10 minute run! I briefly considered it cheating, but from where I’ve been...(at ground zero), there’s really no cheating involved here! So, 10 minutes it was! I’ve got to give myself a little cheer for those short few minutes. I did it when I could have so easily thought it’s not worth it! But Gremlins, I’m on it and you’ve been slayed! 😂😍

Well done for getting out there and happy IWD! I know what you mean - I tend to think anything less than 30 minutes isn’t a real run (not least because showering and drying my hair takes longer 😂😂)!

Mummycav! There’s one thing I’m certain of, I won’t give up! When I started this programme, my car broke down and I didn’t have any way to get to the gym to continue with W1R2! I was planning to do this on the treadmill 🤐. But, then had to brave the streets or give up until I had my car back. 🤔 I didn’t stop being a driver because I had no car! And the car was a right off in the end 🙁. So good job, I found the courage to do it another way. New car now and I’m still running outdoors! Result!! 😆
🤔 I don’t stop being a runner when life gets in the way of running. I just have challenging times, like most human beings 🥴 and you know what......I know that will be ok! I’ll continue to gain from every experience too. Life surely is an adventure! 🤩👍🏽❤️
