Hi Runners!
Well, the lighter mornings are rolling on in and I’m going with it! It was a bit chilly this morning, but lovely turning a corner and running towards the rising sun ☀️!
I am taking a bit of an unconventional approach to getting myself out there again, by doing a little run every day. Don’t panic 😳, I’m not advocating any dangerous activity! I’m just doing 30 mins run/walk or a short run of around 10 - 15 mins.
Darkness 🌑...rain 🌧 ...wind 💨... time ⏰ and I’ve been easily convinced tomorrow will be a better day 🥱! Striking yet another new deal with myself! 🤝 By the time I’ve finished weighing up the pros and cons, it could have already been done! 😂 (AKA...excuses ☺️)! I’ve tried the day on and day off a few times during winter, but I have struggled to get back on!
So, I’m keeping my ‘back on track programme’ very simple for now. Go out every day, even if it’s just for 5 minutes, but without any pushing. There has been no record breaking or soar body parts! 😂. I can spare 5 mins away from tasks and thoughts to do something for ME every day 😉.
