Hi All, I’m not an active poster but all the advive on here has been invaluable information to help me from C25K to now being a 10K graduate. I never imagined that running could be such a valued part of my life; back in September I just wanted to get fit on a budget! Now I have joined a local running club, found a community and new friends. Thank you all for the advice and helping me get to the good place... still even now nothing hurts as much as those first three weeks of the program, haha!

👍🎉🏃 well done
Congratulations on your 10k runningseahorse - it’s a great feeling isn’t it? 🍾🥂🎓🥳
Well done you! It’s the best feeling isn’t it? 👊👍
Well done on the 10k. You have made amazing progress in just 4 months.
Congratulations ☺
Becky, is it that much more difficult than zero to 5km? Please share as i don't see that much about this natural progression
Hi Raymond, for me it just crept up me. I kept doing a bit more each week, but still stopping to lower heart rate every 2.5 K. I see it as two parts to work on: cardio fitness, and body strength (muscles, tendons, ligaments). Even if your cardio can cope you have to be careful increasing, or you can’t walk up/down stairs the next day because of body strength.
Congratulations on your first 10k RSH! Totally agree with your comments about the programme and this forum - well done.
