Hello lovely running family,
So hereβs how the story goes... ju-juβs plan was going so well! π
I was loving the running, especially enjoying increasing the distanceπ€© loved the 8k... I did one more 5k after that run & then all of a sudden life got really busy & I had a million excuses π Iβve been neglecting my running & this incredible forumπ₯
So basically I didnβt run for a full week... until yesterday afternoon... When this happened...
10k baby!π€©ππ
It just felt so good to be back outside & as soon as I started running I knew I could do it... so I did!ππ
I canβt actually believe I can run 10k πππ
Next challenge is to up my snail game! ππ
Oh & enter a Half Marathon π
Thank you to everyone here for all your encouragement! & huge thanks to Thundersloth, I couldnβt of done this without ya! πβ‘οΈ

Absolutely brilliant Dreams, well done! Iβm starting to feel as though I'm being left behind π₯ Thunderslothβs fault for doing his 10k early π€£π€£. Still going to wait to do
mine in a crowd at Clumber Park a week on Sunday and make it an occasion. Might even wear my Santa hatπ€Άπ»

Walked 5k yesterday and a couple of miles today... pain free. So Iβm thinking half a mile Friday and again Sunday... going to start there and build to restrengthen the over stretched bits.

Good on you getting straight back out! π Take the runs on Friday & Sunday steady! π€©π
Weβre all rooting for you UNM! π€π

Will be doing... first sign of ankle pain and Iβm stopping... not worth trying to rush back, Iβm already ahead of where I thought Iβd be, I was expecting another week to this stage.
