My very first 10k was in December 2019. I remember after that first one how exhausted I was at the end . Then realised the more you run them the less exhausting it gets.
So today I chose a route I've ran before but haven't ran it in a while. Its quite hilly on the way out and a bit better on the way back. Everything felt good especially my breathing . Stopped the watch and was just over 10k . Came in loaded the run and was so pleased to have ran my very first sub 60 minute 10k .
I must admit I'm quite chuffed . So off for a shower now then out with the dog.
Happy running people ππ
I also found this baby frog ( or froglet) as I'm told in the garden . I've never seen one so tiny as you can see it wasn't much bigger than a Β£1 coin πΈ
Fantastic effort, goodness those hills. They obviously suit you with your new PBs. Froglets are amazing. We had 3 ponds in our old garden and there were loads of frogs and froglets. Found our 1st pond in new garden yesterday. Happy running π€
Thanks Grannyhugs, we love our hills don't weπ€£ . Great you found another pond. I've only ever seen fully grown frogs so this was a first for me. π
No pond just frogs, great for keeping the slugs at bay.
