Since my first ankle grumbling on the 22/01/19 I have finally saw a physio.
In order to measure if this ankle is going to behave itself, no running for two weeks.
Can carry on with gym strength stuff and Xtrainer, Rower and Static bike.
If still grumbling got to drop Xtrainer and then Rower until it is comfortable and I am not limping.
Ice and work it into the back of the heel. Also two stretching exercises, standard calf stretch and toes on a step, heel overhanging and lower and raise.
When ready to resume trotting the physio wants one minute walk, one minute run. Also physio said better start thinking in terms of 6 weeks. Perhaps I will go through the C25k programme again with Laura.Whats not to like.ππ€ππ
I will just walk for the Green Gym Group on a Friday.
This right ankle was just not going to let me get back to where I and it was before.
No not painful Jan, stiff and uncomfortable following exercise and I am then back limping.I think some of it gets in your head.π
But I am going to be a good patient, if it has not improved in two weeks I have to go back.
So speed challenge gone on this occasion, and all the best to you, you are doing fantastically well.
I will enjoy checking everyoneβs form.π€π
Forecast for tomorrow, warm and brillant. ππ
The Green Gym Group, Free, Fresh- air, Fun, Fitness, we have had an enquiry from one of the local gp surgeries to know more about the free exercises we are offering.
I hope and think this is just going to fly. A little Holy Island HealthUnlocked satellite.π«
So glad that you are gradually recovering from your grumpling ankle Tbae, with the help of your physio you will be able to trot gently again soon. π
I like that picture above of
"Before you speak think" very wise words.
I still run a little bit just to keep my legs in running mode, however, recently I joined a walking group and told the very friendly people in the group about C25K and what I have achieved.
So glad Tbae you have been to the physio. What a great idea maybe going back to the C25 programme. I miss Laura and its such a joy to hear her reassuring voice. Heal well Tbae Spring is coming, another thing to look forward too. π π€
