Hi there...

Just a memory jog for anyone who is going to try and join Flaraflarkin and myself at the Isabel Trail Park Run in Stafford this coming Saturday...

The weather is set to be dry and not too chilly ...Yeayaay.

If anyone is within striking distance it will be great to get together..

For those friends who have said, already, that they are hoping to join us... car parking is at the Sainsburys Store...( You do have to pay, so bring car parking cash) as the start of the run is quite literally within a hundred yards or so .

Meeting outside the main door of the store at 8.15 to 8.30 ish... sounds like a plan... time for a loo call ( Sainsburys offer their loos for us ) and to get to the start before 8.45....

My family think I am bonkers driving for 2 hours to trot round the park for a bit, have a cuppa and then drive 2 hours home.

What else would I be doing. Fresh air and friends beat decorating the dining room any day.

Unless there is a disaster I shall be there

I am however nervous about getting very hot and sweaty with a group of virtual strangers. This increases my anxiety so bound to be hotter than ever.

The nearest to me is Hanley...but Stafford is only 12 miles away.. I would join you on your PR but yours are all hilly!

Hanley's not too far, slightly nearer than Stafford actually. My local one is of course Lyme which is just really really hilly. My other local one is Marple, and that's pretty flat though quite muddy, a very small hill to contend with. If you fancy popping up one Saturday I might even buy you breakfast afterwards! I will seriously try and make Hanley some time though, I do need to get out more. Enjoy Stafford!!
