Beautiful sunny freezing morning here today & I just happened to have a week off work, so up & out before breakfast. (Not before sunrise though, so a 9.00 start 😴)

Decided to do as much of my run off road as I could - I'm lucky to live beside a huge country park. Much of it wasn't on any path at all, so had to weave round trees, bushes, & over blackberry branches, the ground covered in leaves, some on a golf course, other bits following a mountain bike trail, and then back by the river. Just the kind of variety I love. 😀

The real bonuses were the deer that I got so close to, the squirrels, and the amazing light coming through the trees. Just wish I could combine running & photography - here we get so many grey days, that such light a very special treat.

What a lovely run report, we've been lucky with the sun down South and today was not quite as bone chilling as the weekend, thank goodness 😀

What a wonderful run, sounds fab. And well done for completing W3r1. I have a feeling I am going to take twice as long, especially if I want to fit in Parkruns too. Good to see you doing so well. 😀

Thanks! I combined Sami's wk 2 music with ju-ju- 's programme & it worked perfectly!

You'll be running 10k, in the 5 weeks, but it will take you longer to complete the Sami Murphy programme, combining it with Park run. I wouldn't be surprised if by the time you're running 60 minutes non stop, you're hitting 11/12k!!!
