Congratulations on achieving the 10k. I disagree that you should have pushed more... your longest run of a cycle should be as relaxed as possible and run easy/comfortable. Great job.
Fantastic! Well done on your 10k! Congratulations! Enjoy your time on the podium and all the very best for your onward running journey. ππΎπ₯π ππ»πππβοΈ π₯β‘οΈ πββοΈπ€ΈββοΈπββοΈπ€ΈββοΈπββοΈπ€ΈββοΈ Remember to ask for your shiny new badge.
Thank you...I am quite pleased with myself...I have got the lovely badge now as well....also had a lovely walk in the Haig Hall Woods this afternoon with my son.....perfect day!
That is brilliant. I am starting training tomorrow to do the York 10k in August. Now I have only doing up to 5k. Did my first parkrun last Saturday 41.02
Great job!! I have my first 10K in March and aiming for a time not to dissimilar to this. I wouldnβt say itβs a slow pace at all but then Iβm quite new to running too. Onwards and upwards as they say!!
This is a very inspirational story. I have only just graduated couch25K so I look forward in due course to catching up to your level of fitness. All the best
Brilliant run and welcome to the 10k club!! Time isn't relevant. A nice steady run, keeping the average heart rate down, will have done you loads of good and set you up for the next one. My second 10k was about two and half minutes faster than the first mainly because I speeded up towards the end when I found I had a bit of energy in the tank. So just go by how you feel; for now, just enjoy the achievement! ππ₯π₯π₯π₯
Thank you beachcomber. I have felt pretty good since I did it , a lot if that is down to taking it steady so I wasnβt exhausted ... that has made me realise that I can do it again and mainly that I will enjoy it when I do ! ππ
