Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for all your support during 2018.
December has seen me gradually increasing my distance so hopefully will be back up to 10k by end of January. I better had as my family have given me a wonderful (I think) gift by entering me in the Derby Half Marathon in June 2019.
Looking forward to a wonderful new year of gently increasing my distance.
Happy running everyone.

Hi Richard, and a very happy Christmas to you and your family. That’s quite some Christmas present! You’ll do fine, you’re a great runner, and you’re nearly inspiring me to enter a HM myself in March... nearly
Happy Christmas Neil. You are doing great too. I will enjoy it and walk if I have to. The luxury of running down roads that normally are closed to walking/running down sounds fun. You should go for it - when you want to - but they way you are going I think you should be fine - you sound like you have a better stretch routine than me - but I think I need to make some changes if I am going to increase my distance that far.
Thanks Dexy - not worried about getting back to 10 but HM does seem like a big jump. I ran 14 in May so that's 2/3 of the way!! Just need to make sure I don't do it too quickly and injure myself - plenty of time.
