Merry Christmas to all you lovely people, hope you all have a great time! Are any of you going to fit a run in? Finished the first of my 2 parkruns for this weekend, Portsmouth Lakeside today, tomorrow I'm off to run the Southsea parkrun, what some people do to get out of peeling the spuds eh! 😆 Probably get lumbered for the washing up though as punishment for slipping out early, ha ha! 😆 My time for today was 26:20 probably be a little slower tomorrow with the alcohol sloshing about in my belly and a thumping head but what a way to work up an appetite! Happy running all! 😊

Ooh congrats on pb! I've ended up at my boyfriend's flat today (didn't know my plans til last minute) and there's no nearby parkrun here. But have brought kit to run tomorrow a.m.

Thanks I did run yesterday but it was very hilly! Took well over an hour to run just under 7k. But felt it in my legs afterwards

Thank you Chris, I've had a belter of a year with this running malarky and met loads of great people, not to mention the queen of HU c25k being the highlight of the year! Don't you and hubby get plastered now will you, just because it's Christmas is no excuse! Although I'm excused! ha ha, have a great time the both of you as I'm sure you will. 😊xxx

Happy Birthday and Christmas Frank.

I am not Parkrunning tomorrow. I shall be resting my legs as I ran today. I will be cooking breakfast - scrambled eggs, smoked salmon on toast, followed by present unwrapping, when I hope Santa has delivered some running gear

I don't do booze but I shall be making some Bucks Fizz to go with breakfast (but not mine. I shall have my usual cuppa tea)
