Merry Christmas nowster
That is a lovely Christmas photo nowster, talking about Carols from King's, I have a double CD called "Carols from Kings" the duration is 2 hours 25 minutes, I always listen to that double CD on the Sunday morning before Christmas when out a walk, that walk also lasts 2 hours 25 minutes, so I left my house there on Sunday at 9am with that CD playing and got home at 11.25 as the CD ended, one of the Carols on the CD is While Shepherds Watch their Flocks by Night, on part of the walk I passed a field full of sheep 🐑A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Coincidentally, While Shepherds Watched is what's playing at the moment (the iPlayer recording off Radio 4 yesterday).
♫ While Shepherds washed their socks by night
♫ All watching ITV
♫ The Angel of the Lord came down
♫ And switched to BBC. ♫
That's a little different than the original version nowster, talking about different versions of While Shepherds Watch their Flocks by Night, on Sunday morning I heard the more familiar version, however, I have another CD of FOUR other versions of that Carol, by Michael Beesly, JC Smith, Thomas Clarke and my favourite version is the Yorkshire version by John Foster of High Green, Yorkshire, its on a CD entitled "While Shepherds Watched" performance by 'Psalmody, The Parley of Instuments ' the Director is Peter Holman.
Merry Christmas 🎄 Watched Carols from Kings on catch up last night 🎶🎄🎶
Always my official ‘now it’s Christmas’ thing 😂🎁🎅🏻
Hopeful for better days in 2021 ✨
Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for the lovely Christmas message and picture.
Enjoy
Happy Christmas
Merry Christmas, nowster 🎄🎅🎄
Happy Christmas, enjoy your Christmas feast, we’ll be sitting down to our turkey in a little while 🎄🤶🤗
The only accident was me dropping the packet of cornflour when making the gravy. All down my trousers and on the kitchen lino.
Half a bottle of wine later and it's no longer a problem. 🍷
Well that’s what Christmas memories are made of, & great recovery 🤗🎄
btw loving the xmas pud bauble 🎄
I hope you’ve had (are having) a peaceful day and some restoration for the soul ( and running body).
Merry Christmas nowster. Here's hoping for a kinder 2021 for us all🎄😊
Merry Christmas to you too
Hope the turkey was good, ours is a day late, currently in the oven!(we’re flexing our multi-cultural family traditions).
Under the Christmas tree this year we’re toe socks for the whole family! Thought I’d let you know as your story of running with toe shoes inspired me so much. Not quite toe shoes yet, but toe socks are a small step in that direction and I can’t wait to try them out!
Happy running and happy holidays!
I got a pair of "Outdoor" wool-mix Injinjis as a present.
The turkey crown was good. We still have plenty left. Today may be sandwiches, though. My tummy still feels fuller than it's used to.
Christmas 1999 was weird. My sister was working shifts nursing, and I was doing preparation work for a community radio station that was starting its four week stint the following day. We had our big Christmas meal on Boxing Day.
And then there was 2002 when my mum was in hospital for an emergency operation. We opened presents at her bedside, and postponed "Christmas" until Easter Sunday that year.
