10k at last 🤗

So there was no prevaricating this morning, the weather was beautiful, dry, sunny and no wind. It was fantastic, made better by running with my son (who ran in a 10kg vest to ‘slow’ him down to my pace!!) it all seemed to come together so well, my pace was roughly equal splits all the way of 6.17, completing it in little over an hour. This followed an excellent park run of 29.58 on Saturday. Just 12 mths ago I was 3 stone heavier and a complete coach potato so a much happier, healthier Christmas this year. To say I’m ‘buzzing’ tonight is a slight understatement!! Happy running everyone, couldn’t have done it without you 😊

Fair play to you. I'm trying to get to 10k, I've lost my way a bit after getting the 5k. Reading posts like this makes me determined to achieve that landmark. Congratulations again.😊

It’s taken me a while, finished coach to 5k at the end of May but there’s no rush, I’ve just been enjoying the running!
