I went to see a sports therapist today and have reams of exercises to do. A sprain with an aggravated plantar (and aggravated plantars are really mean creatures). I've got some orthotics to try. Went for a W1R1 C25K run today but ran the walk sections and walked the run sections, all slowly as a test.
So while I'm on the IC I fancied some company/something to do and purchased a student cello. I've got to lesson 4 in the book and am working on playing London Bridge is Falling Down. Remember that one from school days? 🎶
I was miffed to miss a sunny 🌤 park run on Sat but buying of new running t-shirt and socks, and a cello kept me out of mischief!

Good luck with the cello 😀hope you heal quickly its not good when your on ic but what a great pass time for you ..im more guitar but im not very good 😭 one does try lol 👍
We could form a C25K band! My first instrument, and the only one I play well is the school recorder. No jokes please! I play it well enough for someone to tell me there was a Peruvian flute player in the house. (?? I was playing Irish music!) 😂
Oh no, Baddie...hope you get sorted out soon, and don’t have time to perfect the cello playing! Well done on finding something to keep you busy, though. ❤️❤️
Ouch....plantar kills even when it’s not aggravated! Sorry to hear you’re on the IC baddie...but looks like you’ve plenty to keep you occupied?! You’ll be playing the hovis ad before you know it!!
What a great use of your time on the IC. A few years ago when I was off work for a couple months after surgery, I had my son showing me some of the things he was learning during his guitar lessons. I really enjoyed it, but unfortunately life got back in the way when I went back to work and restarted running again. I enjoy listening to him rock out on his electric guitar but do stare longingly at the guitars from time to time. Perhaps some day I'll try to pick it up again.
So sorry to hear that you are on the IC Baddie but its good that you have seen an expert to get some recovery exercises.
I wish you luck with your cello lessons. Silent Night was one of my tunes on the recorder. Maybe you do that in time for 🎅🏻 (it’s too early to say the word.)
Wow, you really meant it! Can you upload audio here? I’d love to hear London Bridge on the cello! Good luck recuperating and learning. I have had plantar pain from walking though. I wore barefoot shoes for screw years and had to switch to support trainers never went back. I do miss them though.
