Well after planning this route in my head last night and putting a post on here this morning I did it and it was a ten miler. Really chuffed though as lots of steep hills and main roads to cross. Got a park run tomorrow, hope my legs will be up to it.

Great run for you today Agelesslass, but do you think it's wise to go on another run, irrispective of what the run is. They say unless you have been running for over a year and or training for a half or full marathon it's not a good idea to run on consecutive days.
I know, but it was my birthday this week and my running club have arranged a birthday sash and a birthday cake for the park run tomorrow. I could just go and watch instead. Thanks for your concern AlMorr
Hope you made it to Parkrun - but if not you still smashed my Great South flat run time and I needed a week off afterwards - so very well done indeed!!!!
Thanks Linda, yes I felt fine on my run this morning. I’m doing a 10k Cheshire run next Saturday, I will be training for that this week. I love it all, grab life while you can that’s my motto.
Well done, I was thinking about you and your big run today. Take care of those leggies and go v v easy tomorrow. The last thing you want is an injury...( just speaking as someone who is long of tooth! )
