Off the IC and at it again

I've gone a little stir crazy but knew it was for my own good. Rested up, did lots of stretches and then yesterday got out for an icy morning blast. Just a steady jog, enjoying the sunrise and ended 4.6k feeling so pleased that my body didn't let me down.

I have invested in some new running shoes, didn't christen them yet but may do at the weekend. I spent the best part of an hour in our local running specialist shop, it was like getting new school shoes as a kid! Clutching my shoebox I picked up fresh bread and beans for tea- now that I blew my budget on the science of shoes!

I do hope they will help keep me off the IC and racking up the training runs. 10K by Christmas, that's my target 👍🏼🏃🏽‍♀️
