Hi all, I finished Lloyd Parkrun in 29:40 this morning, so it’s a great new PR for me 😀🥇I took the best part of a minute off my previous best by following a chap who’d done over 350 Parkruns according to his t-shirt.🏃‍♂️

He took off and left me in the final section and I didn’t see him again so didn’t get a chance to thank him. 😕 Thankyou, whoever you are! 🙂👍👏👏

I’m going to celebrate at lunchtime 🍾🥂😀

Haha....It's on my ' to do' list to do a PR but anxious I'll hammer it as I have found a latent competitive spirit and I'd ruin some good work .That's my excuse anyway!

I've never seen a 350 t-shirt - what colour is it? Or could you only see red mist?

Thanks UpTheStanley, it was black and on the back it had 300 then below it 350. It had the Parkrun logo on it so I assumed it was official, but I may well be wrong! 🤣

Thanks Equi-geek, I’ve had a fig jam and goats cheese bruschetta (sounds weird but it’s lovely) 😋 and a large glass of white wine for lunch 🍷

I’m out tonight 🍤🍜🍺 too so don’t want to overdo it! 😊
