At long, long last ... a new PB!

I've been running three times a week, I've run several 10ks and seem to be able to keep a steady (slow) pace at all distances but my Parkrun time has just refused to get faster.

Many, many weeks ago I set a PB of 34.03 and since then have constantly kept under 35mins.

I'm not very competitive so haven't been too bothered but even I was getting a bit frustrated, particularly as Mr Wizzie seems to be getting a new PB every week at the moment!

So when today's results email arrived and told me my time was 33.05 ... well, you probably all heard my cheer!!

At long, long last a new PB!

Based on my progress so far it could be several years before I get any where near 30mins!

Have a good weekend everyone ... happy running!

Thank you ju-ju.

I've just watched your latest video even though I'm not following the plan at the moment. I love the idea of a massage as a treat!

Well done, you certainly wizzed today! My problem is I keep chatting to people as I go round and the forget about pace. Today I met someone else who’d done c25k last year. It’s amazing how many of us there are 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Thanks!

I must admit I'm also prone to having a chat along the way, but as I said I'm not really very competitive. I often say 'I run to keep fit, I don't keep fit to run!' Having said that I'm delighted with the PB.
