Last week I was delighted to get a new pb at Parkrun - it had been months since that happened. Well, blow me down, today I got another new pb! I really wasn't expecting to, so it was a fantastic surprise when the results came in. Last week was 38:20 and this week's was 37:33. And best of all, my 12 year old son got a new pb too - 26:00! We're both feeling very chuffed.
Another week, another pb!: Last week I was... - Bridge to 10K
Another week, another pb!
That's fab! Well done to you both!! 😊
Congrats to you, and your 12 year old - he's fast!
Well done Debston - if you keep on getting Pb’s , you’ll be finishing before you’ve started before long! And well done to your son too - it must be in the genes!
Congratulations to both of you what amazing parkrun results🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Brilliant, well done! And how lovely that your son got a PB on the same day 😃 👏🏻 Such a happy time together ❤️
Congratulations to you and your son on getting PB's at this mornings Parkrun, not sure if you could beat your son, he will soon be able to run a 5K in in 25 or less minutes, but on the other hand you could ask him politely to "slow down" 😊
😂 I could ask but he wouldn't! To be fair, I wouldn't want him to slow down for me, I would feel bad for slowing him down. I think you're right that he's going for that 25 minute barrier and there's no way I'll be matching that! Were you at Parkrun today AlMorr?
Yes, I was at my first parkrun of 2020 this morning at Dunfermline, nice sunny morning, just over 200 running, no PB today, my time was 33.30, I hope it won't be long before you can get a sub 35 minute 5K, but by that time your son will have broken that 25 minute barrier. 🏃🏾👍
Oh you must be so proud that’s a great time for both of you
Fab running by you both. Well done 👍🏼
Well done on your PBs at parkrun . Isn’t it great competing against yourself?
