I only went and did it!!! 10k in the bag!!!

I went for a 5-6k run and was so in the zone I kept going and I’ve only gone and bagged a 10k!! It was slow but steady, 1hr 17mins, plenty to work on but so proud of myself! And to think 3 months ago I was knackered doing w1r1 on C25K! 😊🏃‍♀️

Congratulations on running a 10K Helen , to see the words GRADUATE10 next to your username leave a message on the May graduate10 post on the healthunlocked graduate10 homepage and tell the administrators that you have ran a 10K.

Thank you so much, I’m a little shell shocked and emotional (in a good way) about what I’ve just achieved! X

Well done on your achievement.

Please, as a new graduate, only increase your training load within the 10% rule, otherwise you may be seriously increasing your injury risk.

Thank you for your advice. I definitely need to slow it down, no more than 3 5k’s next week, promise! X

My first 10k was that time too. About a year ago. Now I’m chasing sub one hour! Could be you in a year. Well done!
