Wednesday run!

Hi all! Well I managed to get out again this morning. Although it was a wee bit warmer again but obviously not the heat waves we have had. They seemed to have disappear quite quickly in the end. Not that I’m complaining,I much prefer the cooler weather and especially the cooler mornings.i always feel better running in the cool.

Anyway schools are back. However in my village we’ve only got the little village primary school so there are not many little ones from the village there mostly from outside and so the school run begins. I do try to get out either before they roll up in their 4x4s or when the kids are safely in the classrooms and it’s back to the tranquil sound of peace🤣🤣

There’s also the coach that comes to pick up the teenagers to go to their school which is out of the village. There’s not many bin lids in the village though so not much traffic etc.

Anyway my run was ok and I felt pretty good.No heavy legs etc. Shoes very comfy still and they are a dream to wear.

I didn’t manage 5K today my time also seemed a wee bit slower than Sunday. But never mind I’m quite happy with that and I managed not to stop so that’s something.

I must say it’s great getting out when it’s not too hot anymore and the autumnal smells and that feeling of anticipation of the coming autumn months takes over. It’s fab! Yes you’ve all guessed I am an autumn,winter kind of gal!🌬⛄️⛄️❄️☔️There’s nothing more I love than being able to wrap up,and run without getting too hot.hee! hee! and feeling the cold pinching at your cheeks !

Glad you got out and had a good run Hidden ! I thought I could hear someone whispering “cake” in my ear as I set off for a sunny 4k run just about when you must have been finishing! 🏃‍♀️🍰🏃‍♀️🍰 😂❤️

Ha! I thought it was you.! 🤣🤣🤣 Hope your run was good. It was a nice morning. Back to work for me tomorrow and Friday. Not long before I can run more when I retire in about 9 months yippee!

Anyway I’ll be back out on Sunday morning with Flick. Come and join us then there’ll be cake after🍰🍰🍰🤗🤗🤗

Running in the cooler weather is definitely a blessing Peggy, we had blue skies here but with a northerly breeze. No need to worry about times when you are running for you. Enjoy your run on Sunday; I will be virtually running parkrun with mountaindreamer and her speedy OH on Saturday. 😄x
