Hi everyone. I have just now been able to post,as we have had trouble with our broadband as as one of the neighbours. This has been off since yesterday at around 11.15 am. Around the time I had finished and was trying to post.
Anyway it was HITT for me which I once again enjoyed .....weird!
Tomorrow I’m going to hopefully get out if not I shall run on the old dreadmill....I mean treadmill! hee! hee!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope everyone is safe and well in this wet, blustery weather!
Glad you enjoyed HIIT again, Peggy. 😊❤️ What exercise machine is it you use? The only HIIT routines I know seem to involve repeating a series of non-machine exercises (eg squats / sit ups...) at high intensity for short periods? All exercise is good exercise, though! 😃
Hi mountain dreamer. The HITT that I do is an app that I downloaded onto my iPad from the App Store. It really is just a HITT timer that consists of a
5 min. warm up. Low interval running and then high interval running. Apart from the warm up everything else I carry out in 10 cycles of low and high interval training so by the end you will have done 30 minutes, and knackered!
It’s good for weight loss and you certainly feel you’ve done something.I run on my treadmill and get to a fast speed. I’ve been able to get to a speed of 8.
Yes Pink I do!🤨look it it up in the App Store! It The app picture is a blue background with 30 in the middle! I know I’m 60 young man but I’m not addled!😬😬........oh by the way welcome back!🤣🤣
Was just asking as I know what HIIT(high Intensity Interval Training) stands for but not familiar with HITT Is it a pun on something?
ok googled it.. is it this thing?
"The High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program’s primary purpose is to enhance operational fitness levels and optimize combat readiness and resiliency for the active duty United States Marine. "
Sounds good, Peggy. 😃🏃♀️❤️ I guess a running version of HIIT will help your running speed, as it’s just like speed interval training, then. Your photo makes sense now. I couldn’t work out what the distance number was for if you were doing sit ups etc...😂😂😂
