I’m having problems with hip pain and it’s waking me at night every time I roll over- to relieve hip pain 😂 I’m doing stretches, I’ve had another week off running but this morning even though I felt about 80 when I got up I did a 2.5 mile run. I used lots of ice and ibruprofen gel when I got back but think I might have to knock the 10k training on the head as I don’t think I’m up to it. I’d rather do short runs three times a week than try and slog through a longer one then be in unable to run for another week. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have tendonitis in my left hip and am having cortisone injections next week ,ironically running can be less uncomfortable than walking and standing on my left foot hurts 😬
Hope it clears up soon xx

Try sitting on a tennis ball and do this stretch. It could be tightness in your lower back and/or tight hamstrings. This stretch will work wonders for these areas. You should consider doing pilates or yoga too.
