I am about to do my 1st run for a month! I really wish I had stuck to it. I keep telling myself that I am not running because of x,y,z but realised that these are just gremlins getting better of me! Yes I am a busy mum with 3 kids working during school holidays which is hard! However, whilst I was running I was still a busy mum working full time and juggling lots of things! Knowing that I managed to look after myself by taking some care of myself by running made me feel proud and I felt I was achieving something.
No more excuses! Going to try and run for half an hour!

Brilliant! Well done for recognising those gremlins and after you run you’ll know they can be defeated. It is hard when you’re so busy but so important to do something which makes you feel good about yourself. Let us know how it goes x
Thanks Sarah 😀 I did a 2nd 30 min run on Saturday same pace/distance (did just under 4K) but had some gradual hills on this route which I usually try and avoid 🙈 I am going out rain or shine again on Monday. I find going out 1st thing best for me before the day and little people start demands!
Well done! Put on those trainers and obscenely bright leggings, (you don't have any? Why not?) And remember: out there, don't care! Let us know how you get on!
It was good to get back to it! Did just shy of 4K in 30 mins. I am OK with that as similar pace to a month ago when I was running more regularly. My running attire tho is in black and grey hues so think your right I do need some awesome leggings - job for the day do some Internet shopping😃
Well done, hon. I'm going to let the dust settle on all the Year 7s who are cluttering up the playground with hysterical emojis and satchels that are too big and shiny.
Then we can show them who's boss, eh? You up for it? Yeah. C'mon. Let's show 'em how grown-ups do this.. xx
