Anyone else having GPS issues still with Strava?

I am not sure if it’s Strava or my watch?

Only ever had one issue and it was my Garmin watch not the Strava app. Very infuriating!!

Oh right. It’s since I had the replacement watch it’s been hit and miss . I can sense another irate email coming on 😡

Which watch do you have? Mine didn’t sync my run down to a ‘corrupt’ file.

Forerunner 30.. had no problems with the original given to me in March, until I fell and broke the strap attachment. I emailed Garmin and they replaced the whole watch but it’s been hit and miss with GPS since I’ve had it.

My Garmin was odd this morning.. seemed to have lost the auto pause and the restart.. and the pace monitor !

Well usually I put it in timer mode, then press and it says GPS OFF, press again and it says GPS ON, and then usually just after that it says GPS READY and then I start the timer but it’s only says OFF and ON at the moment. It tracks how far I go but I don’t get a map anymore. I’m trawling the internet at the mo searching for clues ☹️

I got a bit fed up with Strava as it seemed to reset itself and do odd things. I just found it unreliable at Parkrun etc. I haven’t had a problem with my forerunner 35 , although I need to give it plenty of time to locate gps before a run. Love that it syncs to Strava to as I like looking at that and Garmin Connect

Yes! Haven’t been able to track a run in over a week! Tried with my other app and that didn’t work either so assumed it is my phone. Don’t know what to do. Let me know if you get a solution!

Well I read up and decided maybe it was my Garmin watch so I downloaded Garmin Express, resynched it, then resynched it to Garmin Connect and it seems to be finding satellites ok today.

Well at various points today I’ve looked on maps on my iPhone and it is having real problems locating me at all.
