My first holiday run yesterday.Drizzle, perilous steep slatey tracks, farm yards and muck, overgrown bridleways, dead ends, beautiful little paths through tunnels of dripping trees, estuary views, tracks and fields and some quiet unintentional trespassing.Loving every elated sodden minute of the 7.5k trip out! Family still in their beds on my return. Happy holidays runners.x

St Dogmaels near Cardigan.Beautiful changing estuary and we were on the beach yesterday.Haven't tried running on ( firm) sand though!

How wonderful - and one of the most evocative pics posted this year x

Raining in Wales? Really? Heck :-)

Or just smoke drifting in from 1970s burning cottages?

Good that you're not staying perched on a tree branch tho :-)

Ha ha, no fires in sight fortunately and everyone we've met have been lovely.

It does look as if I'm in a tree come to think if it. Perhaps climbing trees could be included in cross training.

It’s such a blast int it! I love running by a shrub that shakes it’s cold water all over me on a hot day. Simple pleasures ey πŸ‘

New routes are invigorating and they heighten our senses. Very invigorating πŸ’ͺπŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

Yes I like that about the senses .Just moving through the landscape has an interesting effect, but different from walking ( which I also love and want to do more)

Yes, absolutely. Running and walking are great partners πŸ’ͺπŸ˜ƒπŸ‘
