10k here I come

Lots of analysis of my last run. Disastrous though it seemed to me, the support team claimed I looked capable of more at the end. So tomorrow I embark on Ju-ju’s plan for 10k. Nervous isn’t the word, maybe excited is?! 😊

You'll be fine ... before you know it the eight weeks will have passed and you'll be running 10k!

Enjoy your run tomorrow and good luck for the rest of the 10k plan.

Keep well hydrated, keep cool and keep running!

Stay cool? I can’t even manage that sitting down in the shade at the moment! Early mornings and vet late evenings at the moment. 😂

Be excited! This plan is so manageable. In many ways, easier than C25K, I think. It took me 6 months to pluck up the courage, now I wish I had taken it on earlier, as I am loving the longer runs!

Longer distances - Never thought I’d agree. Sometimes I dread the start, but then as soon as I get going.....🏃‍♀️😊

Follow the plan Katiepops keep to the rules, don't end up on the naughty step 😉, like Sadie-runs says, the slow and steady longer runs are really enjoyable

Good luck Katie, just follow the programme and you’ll be fine. 🙂 Remember the mantra from C25K- slow and steady. You won’t go far wrong. 😊

OK ignore that. I’m starting the plan tomorrow now! Got asked to help out a friend on putting some pace in. Remembering a conversation with Sallenson about Laura and the c25k+ podcasts we set out to the irritating beat for 30 minutes. Smashed PBs big time, but feel a bit tired leggy today, so assault on 10k starts tomorrow. 😉😘 Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I love this site!
