Down on the canal path at 5:49 this morning to start ju-ju's 10k plan. Had mapped out my runs and today I began with the 5.5k .
What a glorious run, first time I have experienced complete zone out from everything, didn't once notice or think about my breathing, stride, speed ...just ran and loved it.
Managed the 5.5 with ease and although felt I could keep running I didn't as still a long way to go. Still on a high and feeling like all the additional strength work I have done since IC is starting to pay off.
Special big hug Hidden thank you, your advice and encouragement, priceless
Hope everyone has a great weekend and happy running

It really was Jay and helped with my flagging confidence. I think we are nearly ready for that Park Run,do you? Check out the Walsall one, might be closer and my work colleagues tell me the run venue is really lovely.
Hi there Lorijay, Well done you! And with apparent ease! And even better the wonderful, 'complete zone out from everything' feeling. Long may it continue! 😊
Thanks 61, twas just one of those runs where the planets lined up. I know the next one may be very different but I'll enjoy it and continue to just take one run at a time.
Warm! In the slow lane and looking longingly at those in the faster lane! Musing on how far to run on Monday after my 6k last week. I am due to be away for 4 weeks made up of two different stretches shortly, so probably consolidation is the way to go for the Summer. Only really planning on 10k by next April ready for a local 10k-ish hilly race/fun run next June.
