Ok, I’m not taking it for granted that with family celebrations planned that I can get through this week, BUT I’ve managed the first run, which I did as the 5k. Feels like the gym sessions are beginning to benefit, very pleased.

So - with a deep breath, fingers crossed for the rest of my week.

In this unforgiving weather , good luck to all of us.

Well done with the 5k... what's next 3.5 or 7? I don't know why but I always tend to leave the longest distance till last :)

I start week 4 on Monday, probably the 4k I think...

What gym sessions did you do? Good luck indeed, cooking this week! 😓

So, 3 times a week I get to the gym, and it’s a mix of leg compressions, leg extensions, sideways leg extensions and bike.

Then sometimes I can go for a swim on my short run day.

Roll on the cooler weather for everyone.

Sounds like a very good routine. At least you'll have air con in the gym!

Ordinarily I’d like to do short, medium then long. But the combination of awkward weather and a special celebration involving a bit of travel is messing things up. Ideally I’d like to do the long one next, then it’s in the bag. Fingers crossed! Good luck with week 4!
