I ran for 12K today- the longest so far. Up to now I’ve not taken any water just rehydrating at the end. Today I went out early to avoid heat but now I’m going further I find I need to drink whatever the temperature. I really don’t want to carry a bottle so what other ways do people manage it. I’m considering looping so I can pop home to grab a drink on route but I fear I’ll want to stop 😆

Hydration? Above 10K
I do have a small bottle to go with my flipbelt, but which slips in a pocket too, and which I’ve used twice now. I bought a hydration backpack, has a bladder and room to,carry other stuff too, but so far I haven’t tried it out.
I’ve been taking my wife’s bright pink Fuel Belt hand held bottle. It has a strap so although it’s in your hand you don’t need to grip it. I’ve found it no problem on my last three long runs so I’ve just ordered a non pink one from amazon.
I hated the idea of a bottle so also ran without upto 10k but for longer or in the heat I find its important to drink a bit. My solution is a soft pouch with a bite valve I got from decathlon I think. They come in 150 250 and 500ml versions. As it's soft you just squeeze it tighter as it empties. It has a small hoop you slip your first finger through and it sits inn the palm. I find this solves my bottle problem as its so light I don't notice it. Kalenji soft flask 250 I think, cheap too.
A Zikee belt from Amazon.. two small bottles.... It is really important to stay hydrated, especially in this hot weather.. check out the post from Realfoodieclub

The Zikee belt seems sold out everywhere, including eBay. Have been desperately searching for one in the past few days, having decided not to buy one earlier in the year because I was being a Scrooge (and now regretting it!). I might look into the other suggestions though.
There's the karrimor 2 bottle running belt at Sports direct, at £9.99, go on the site and search running belts
