Tqhere were so many reasons why this 10km run was not a good idea today-
1. I had no idea where I was going and had to keep asking for directions.
2. It was mid day and very hot.
3. I was very anxious as I had just left my 72yr old mother at the airport to fly alone for the first time in her life.
4. I really should have been at work.
5. I had forgotten my water.
6. I needed a💩
7 . it was only my second 10km run
But I absolutely loved . The river and the abbey were wonderful . I got over the heat and once I stopped stressing about getting lost it was just what I needed to stop me worrying about my mum.
I had to do a bit of walking but I beat my previous 10km time of 1h20 and I have another 10km under my belt. Isn’t running awesome 🏃🏽♀️😀
