Well it was a sunny morning and I imagined everyone all setting off same as me all over the different areas of the country. I don't have anyone to run with so always run solo, but yesterday I felt like I was running with a community of runners all supporting each other with big beams on their faces, or that may just have been me! I'm lucky to live very rural so running in the countryside is always lovely, because I do look around and appreciate how peaceful it is. I'm no way ready to tackle a HM , I like the 10km distance , suits me fine.
Legs and hips were a little tired from the Parkrun the previous day, as I never take it easy on those runs, but I also had Ccoach Bennett talking to me the whole way round, telling me to keep doing a body check which I did constantly and made adjustments where I needed to.
So, finishing time, 1hr, 1 min, no idea how that compares to others but it's the fastest I've ever done it, so I was happy! πββοΈπββοΈ
