Well I did it! This time last year I fractured my ankle during the Aberdeen event. Following a year of physical & mental recovery with huge support from my very patient husband and a fine sports therapist I returned to run it once again. I'm delighted with my time & that I finished with no niggles at all. Thanks also to the members of this forum for your support too. Happy running everyone π

Oh well done.
Race well and truly conquered!
Well done, thatβs great news. You must be severely chuffed. ππ½ππ½ππ½
Wow, i can only dream of your pace. awesome!
I managed to get my time down by trying running faster between lampposts on my short runs. Repeating 6 times only it really worked for me.

Now I've pushed past 10k, I think i will do this.
I only started doing this 3 weeks ago & it really made a difference. I think its because you only do it 6 times it appealed to me being lazy at heart π€£π€£ you can only try it Flick x

Im definitely trying this. My speed has dropped since my dista ce has increased. As its so hilly here, I dont expect to get up to a really fast pace, but Im sure I could increase it a bit x
